“Important Update – Disabling of Bike Racks on Urban Services”

Councils have notified Uzabus that bike racks on public transport buses will be temporarily disabled starting at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 8 November, until further notice. This decision prioritises passenger and staff safety as regulatory authorities work to resolve compliance issues.
Operators have been instructed not to remove the racks entirely but to ensure they’re disabled until a resolution is found.
