We regret to advise that the Trial Fare Pay Bus Service operating in Tangimoana and Rongotea will be discontinued at the end of Term 2.

This service was introduced as a trial to provide a reliable and sustainable transport option for local students and families. However, due to lower-than-expected usage, the service has not reached a level that allows it to continue operating viably. In addition, rising operating costs, particularly fuel, have further impacted the sustainability of the route.

We understand this news may be disappointing for those who have relied on the service, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are grateful to the families who supported the trial during its operation.

Refunds and Credits for Unused Travel Vouchers

Customers holding unused travel vouchers are eligible for a refund or credit for any remaining trips. To facilitate this, please return your unused vouchers to our office. Credits will be provided for all unused returned vouchers, or a refund can be processed for the remaining value.
