The following Uzabus services will be affected following the Government’s alert level 4 announcement from 11:59pm Tuesday 17 August 2021.

School Routes

All Ministry of Education School Bus and SESTA services will be CANCELLED until further notice, this includes all Direct Resourced (DR) School routes.

Urban Services

Bay Hopper – Western Bay of Plenty

• R80 Katikati Express – one return service departing Katikati at 6.50am and departing Tauranga at 5.15pm
• R81 Ōmokoroa  – one return service departing Ōmokoroa at 7.00am and departing Tauranga at 5.10pm

 Bay Hopper – Eastern Bay of Plenty

• R122 Whakatāne to Ōhope service runs as normal
• R143a and 143b Whakatāne to Tauranga service CANCELLED until further notice
• R135 Whakatāne to Kawerau CANCELLED until further notice
• 147 Whakatāne to Ōpōtiki service CANCELLED until further notice
• R131 Matatā service CANCELLED until further notice
• R150 Pōtaka service CANCELLED until further notice
• Tertiary services CANCELLED until further notice
• School Hopper services CANCELLED until further notice

Horizons – Manawatu

• Buses will be operating reduced services, refer the table below.

Metlink – Kapiti

• From midnight buses will start to move to a Saturday timetable
• Fares in full effect – Snapper cards will be the only fares accepted
• Social distancing and facemasks are required, please follow instruction onboard the bus
• As part of the move to Saturday timetables, Metlink school bus services will not run from Wednesday 18 August 2021
• Buses will no longer board from the front door. Metlink apologises to customers who rely on the accessibility options provided at the front door and encourages passengers to find out more about Total Mobility services during this time by calling 0800 801 700.
• Updated timetables will be live on the Metlink app and website as soon as possible. RTI displays will take a few days to catch up but messaging is scrolling today on the bottom of each display.
